Virginia National Forest Loop
Cross the state line and experience the untouched backroads of Virginia’s National Forests on this 150-mile 50/50 adventure loop. Designed for beginner to intermediate dual-sport and adventure riders, this full-day guided tour combines twisty paved roads, gravel climbs, and ridge-line forest trails that reveal the quiet beauty of the Appalachian highlands.
Departing from Meadow Creek, West Virginia, riders head southeast into Virginia, traversing sections of the Jefferson and George Washington National Forests. You’ll pass through mountain gaps, scenic overlooks, and small backcountry communities that showcase the character of the Appalachian frontier.
The route is roughly half pavement and half gravel/dirt, making it perfect for newer adventure riders or anyone looking for a scenic, moderate ride with a little bit of everything — mountain twisties, sweeping forest roads, and panoramic views.
